Fish Oil & Omega 3

Fish oil/Omega 3s are doing wonders for many people who suffer from psychiatric episodes. It is also great for the heart, joints and skin.
My mother's psoriasis has almost vanished since she started supplementing. Do be aware that it is a blood thinner so if you have ulcers or are scheduled for surgery you should consult with your medical pro.

Personally, I take between 8 and 12 1000 mg capsules of fish oil per day. Each capsule of the brand I take (Sam's club- 300 capsules for $7) has about 1/3 gram of omega 3. So I'm getting between 3-4 grams per day, about the same amount you would get in a six ounce salmon steak. I'm posting a chart I found that lists the Omega 3 content of various fish. Hope it's helpful
